PRAYER AND FASTING ACTION GROUP PRAYER REQUESTS FOR WEEK OF Nov. 28-Dec 5, 2001 1 Chronicles 4:10 "Oh that you would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain." Hebrews 13:3 "Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you, yourselves were suffering." 1. Florida--Women's D/R--Pray that God replace the 30 guards that are leaving with Christian guards that are mature in their relationship with God. 2. Oklahoma--Execution dates are being sought for John Romano & David Woodruff--Pray for their lives and salvation. 3. Missouri--Keith Nelson--Jury has recommended the death penalty. Pray for his life and salvation. 4. Illinois--Marilyn Lemak Morrissey--Pray as she goes through her trial. Pray for her life and salvation and pray for truth to prevail and justice to be given with compassion always present. Pray for the jury and the judge as they consider the evidence 5. North Carolina--John Rose--Pray for the family and friends of this man as they grieve their loss as he was executed last week. 6. North Carolina--State is seeking a pay cut for court appointed lawyers. Pray as led. 7. Pennsylvania--Teder Davido--Death penalty being sought for this man. Pray for his life and salvation. 8. Washington--Heather Opel (14 years old)--has pleaded innocent to murder. She is facing adult charges and penalties--Pray for her life and salvation- Pray for truth and justice with compassion always present. 9. Florida--Praise --Joseph Green--D/R--A witness to the murder that Joseph was sentence for has admitted he lied about Josephs involvement in the crime that took place 8 years ago. Joseph is now out of prison. 10 Oklahoma--Nadean Smith--Was to be executed on the fourth--I do not know if it was done. Pray for her family and friends as they grieve their loss. Also Nadean's spiritual adviser who was to be with her during the execution, died recently. Please also pray for the family and friends of Rev. Tom Jones as they also grieve their loss. Also pray for Nadean's penpal of 10 years, Helen Ruggles, for I am sure there is an empty space in her life now. 11.Georgia--Byron Parker--D/R--given and execution date of 12/11--Pray for his life and salvation. 12.Texas--Please continue to pray for Andrea Yates and also pray that her financial legal needs be met. 13. Alabama--Patrick Swineys--Has been moved to Kirby and placed in lock up. Pray for his safety and his health for medical care is poor at best. Pray for Sherry Swiney, "Taoss", for her peace of mind. 14. December execution dates are as follows: Dec. 4---Nadean Smith--Oklahoma Dec. 6---Sahib Al-M0sawi--Oklahoma David Dunster--Nebraska Dec. 11--Byron Parker--Georgia Dec. 12--Vincent Cooks--Texas Dec. 17--Thomas Capano--Delaware.Pray for their lives and their salvation. 15. Tennessee/Florida--Continue to pray for Christa Pike and Aileen Wournas who have given up their appeals and now await execution. 16. Georgia--Ex Sheriff, Sidney Dorsey, is being held in his successor's slaying. Pray as led. 17. Oklahoma--James DeRosa--Given a death sentence. Pray for his life and salvation. 18. California--Samuel Shabazz (20)-- is facing a murder trial and could receive a death sentence if convicted. Pray for truth and justice at the trial and for his life and salvation. 19. Florid--Kristina Gaime--On trial for murder. If convicted the state has ruled out the death penalty (PTL). Pray for truth and justice at trial and for her salvation. 20. California--Ryan Hoyt--given the death penalty. Pray for his life and salvation. 21. Please continue to pray about medical neglect in all prisons and jails in this country. 22. Please continue to pray about physical, mental and sexual abuses that take place behind prison bars. 23. USA--Public defenders are underpaid and indigent defense is suffering. Pray for this to be corrected.
